From May 8 to May 10, Chuột Đất Books embarked on a journey filled with laughter and meaningful experiences at the Wiki Born to Race: Little Ones Breaking Through event. Held at Aeon Mall Hà Đông, the event was not only a dynamic playground for children but also an opportunity for Chuột Đất Books to share the love of reading with Vietnamese families.

The Appeal of Physical Activities and Hands-On Experiences at Wiki Born to Race

The Wiki Born to Race event transformed Aeon Mall Hà Đông into a vibrant playground dedicated to children aged 6–24 months. Here, a variety of physical activities and engaging workshops allowed these little “athletes” to confidently express themselves in an energetic and positive environment.

Amid this colorful setting, the presence of educational and intellectual activities created a perfect balance, helping children develop physically while nurturing their minds and emotions.

Chuột Đất Books Booth: A Stop Filled with Vietnamese Stories

Amid the excitement of the event, the Chuột Đất Books booth was always bustling with the sounds of reading and the gentle conversations shared between parents and their children.

  • Parents’ Enthusiastic Interest: Many parents took the time to visit the booth and learn more about Vietnamese children's books-publications thoughtfully created to resonate with the hearts and language of Vietnamese children.

  • Shared Reading Moments: The sight of children attentively turning each page and exploring new worlds alongside their parents through vivid illustrations was the most precious reward Chuột Đất Books received.

Why Should Parents Choose Vietnamese Books for Preschool Children?

Choosing books for preschool children is not simply selecting a form of entertainment; it is choosing the “soil” in which the first seeds of language and awareness are planted.

Cultural and Linguistic Relevance

Children in their preschool years learn about the world through what is most familiar and tangible to them. Vietnamese books help children recognize objects and everyday experiences that reflect the lifestyle of Vietnamese families. Instead of encountering unfamiliar concepts from foreign-language books, children become acquainted with images such as rice cookers, chopsticks, and the familiar dishes prepared by their mothers.

This sense of familiarity helps children form a natural connection with their roots while supporting coherent language development and contextual understanding from an early age.

Stimulating Multiple Senses During the “Golden Stage” (6–24 Months)

This is a period of extraordinary brain development. Chuột Đất Books are designed not to deliver dry theories but to stimulate multiple senses.

  • Visual: Bright yet harmonious colors and clearly defined shapes.

  • Tactile: Safe and durable materials that allow children to freely hold, touch, and turn the pages.

  • Auditory: Through the expressive voices of parents reading aloud, children not only learn new vocabulary but also experience the rich emotional tones of the Vietnamese language.

Strengthening Family Bonds

In today’s busy world, reading together is a “golden hour” for nurturing family connections. Stories about “Dad,” “Mom,” and everyday activities help children feel protected and loved.

When parents and children explore each page together, children not only gain a better understanding of the world but also create happy childhood memories, where every page becomes a source of emotional comfort and security.

Naturally Building Character

Vietnamese children's books often incorporate gentle lessons about gratitude, sharing, and respectful behavior in ways that align with Vietnamese values. Rather than imposing moral lessons, Chuột Đất Books allows children to naturally experience the peace and beauty found in care and affection. Children see themselves in these stories, see their parents’ love reflected in them, and gradually develop kindness, empathy, and compassion from their very first steps in life.

A Heartfelt Thank You from Chuột Đất Books

he success of these three days at Aeon Mall Hà Đông would not have been possible without the support of the WIKI Organizing Committee and, most importantly, the enthusiastic encouragement of parents and families.

Chuột Đất Books believes that every moment parents spend reading with their children is a seed of love being planted. We sincerely thank all the families who shared their warmth and support with our booth.

Although the Wiki Born to Race event has come to an end, Chuột Đất Books’ mission to bring meaningful books to Vietnamese children continues. Don’t forget to follow our fanpage for updates on upcoming activities and hands-on workshops!
