Full Circle of Love: One Book Choice, Two Children Get to Read

Some of the moments children remember the longest are not necessarily linked to a new toy. They may be the quiet minutes before bedtime, when a parent opens a book, listens to an innocent question and gives their child a warm hug after the final page. It is often through these simple moments that love grows naturally within a family.

To celebrate its first birthday, Chuột Đất Books is launching the “Full Circle of Love” campaign in partnership with SCDI – the Center for Supporting Community Development Initiatives.

The message at the heart of the campaign is simple: One book choice, two children get to read.

When a family purchases one of the selected book bundles, Chuột Đất Books will contribute the corresponding number of books to a reading corner supported by SCDI in Gia Lai.

A Circle of Love Begins at Home

Reading together offers more than an introduction to language and stories. It creates a moment when parents can give their children their full attention, listen to their thoughts and share their feelings. A single book can become the beginning of a reading habit, a meaningful conversation or a lasting family memory.

During its birthday month, Chuột Đất Books hopes these experiences will extend beyond one home and reach children who have fewer opportunities to encounter books.

Chuột Đất Books Partners with SCDI

SCDI is a non-profit science and technology organisation established by the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. Its work focuses on promoting social inclusion and improving the quality of life of vulnerable communities. Since 2021, SCDI has implemented the long-term project “Cắt đứt vòng xoáy” (“Breaking the Cycle”). The project supports children and young people facing difficult circumstances by helping them access education, remain in school and develop in a safe and healthy environment.

Through the Full Circle of Love campaign, Chuột Đất Books will contribute books to a reading corner under this project in Gia Lai. Some cycles need to be broken, while circles of love deserve to grow.

“Save Me A Share!” – The Book Selected for Contribution

The title selected for the campaign is “Save Me A Share!”. The story centres on friendship and sharing. Through familiar situations, it gently introduces children to the importance of caring for the people around them. Its message also reflects the spirit of the campaign: when each person contributes a small part, joy and opportunity can reach many more people.

Campaign Period

The Full Circle of Love campaign runs from now until 31 July 2026. Each themed bundle corresponds to the contribution of one book, while the complete seven-title collection corresponds to two books. All books contributed through the campaign will be copies of “Save Me A Share!” and will be sent to a reading corner under SCDI’s “Breaking the Cycle” program in Gia Lai.
